Training Accompanying Gaming

It's all about gaming, so set aside a reasonable amount of time in your class to really try out video games. In the wiki lesson, we've compiled a long list of games that are easy to use and don't require registration or special hardware. They should even run on old school computers with poor internet connections. If you have the opportunity, bring a video game console to your class and have your students try out a few games that are easy to play.

A big fear of parents is that video games make children addicted or violent. We have referred to numerous studies in the handbook that prove this is not the case. Still, parents should make sure that children do not have access to inappropriate games and that their usage time leaves enough room for other pursuits that are relevant at that age. One of the biggest risks is posed by the integrated chat functions, through which children can get in touch with other people. Also make clear to your students the positive aspects of playing video games.
