Chapter 1: Introducing Children to Digital Skills
Parents and teachers play an important role in supporting children and young people in their educational and career choices. It is therefore important that they understand the new requirements arising from the digital transformation in the future world of work and business. In the chapter "Introducing children to digital competencies," we present 5 core competencies and provide tips and materials on how to teach children these competencies and in which situations these competencies can be practiced in everyday life through play:

Chapter 2: Accompanying Children Using Digital Media
Nowadays, children are growing up with digital media. Before children can read, they often already know which buttons to press to access their favorite videos on their parents' smartphones. Parents are often unaware of the risks for children in the digital world and therefore leave their children unsupervised on the Internet. But just like in traffic, children must first learn to recognize and avoid risks. This can only happen if parents accompany them as they learn about the digital world.
